Meet Our Advocate & Support Expert
Born and raised in Albuquerque's South Valley, I've always been deeply connected to my community and the power of advocacy. Inspired by my grandmother, who helped create the DD Waiver, and growing up alongside my aunts with IDD, I witnessed firsthand the importance of compassion, patience, and perseverance. As a mom to a daughter with IDD, this work has become even more personal.
With years of experience in the DD Waiver field, including my time as a Mi Via consultant, I've helped countless individuals and families navigate services, access resources, and take control of their care. My passion and dedication led me to start
Always Advocating NM (AANM)-a space where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities feel empowered, valued, and supported.
